Tata Steel inks MoUs with Imperial College London and The Henry Royce Institute to set up centres of innovation

Tata Steel has signed memorandums of understanding with Imperial College London and The Henry Royce Institute to set up centres for innovation. While the centre at Imperial College London will focus on sustainable design and manufacturing, the one at Henry Royce Institute will pertain to advanced materials.

The steel firm will invest £20 million (about Rs 208 crore) over four years, £10 million in each of these centres, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
